Two tools
Answers include the serving size, a confidence level and the source, plus two reference points: under 1 g counts as low lactose, and most lactose-intolerant people handle about 12 g at once.
Look up a food
Grams of lactose per serving for a food or drink by name, or a list by category under a lactose cap, such as desserts under 1 g.
Add up a meal
The total across everything eaten together, matched food by food, so you can see how close a meal gets to 12 g.

What happens to your questions
- Read-only: the tools look up the same table published on our lactose page and change nothing.
- No account and no sign-in. Anyone with the URL can use it.
- We don’t store what you ask. Each request is answered and forgotten; only standard server logs, without request contents, are kept.
- Every value comes from USDA FoodData Central, other national food composition databases or peer-reviewed studies, cited in each answer.
- Nutrition information, not medical advice.
